Park Place BodyWerks started in 1987 with the purchase of our first Mercedes-Benz dealership that included a small automotive body shop. From our humble beginnings, we moved to a stand alone shop at a separate location in 1992. Since then, our sales have increased 900%, and our size has followed. Today, Park Place BodyWerks operates an 85,000-square-foot facility in Dallas that repairs an average of 500 vehicles a month - a facility that is staffed with the finest technicians, the latest technology and the most up-to-date equipment. And, we are proud that our auto body repair and paint shop is ranked as one of the top five body shops in entire country and maintains a 97 percent positive client review score.

With the addition of our brand new auto body repair center, BodyWerks Grapevine, servicing your vehicle has never been more convenient. The 30,000-square-foot collision center features all new equipment including two paint booths, a Car-O-Liner frame machine, and Celette dedicated fixture bench.

Our State-of-the-Art Equipment:

All production employees have the latest equipment so that they can perform at the highest level of competence. Our technicians have constant access to information through wireless connections in the shops that enable them to access information from laptops wherever they are, be it in their stalls or out in the lot inspecting accident repairs. At our auto repair and body shop we are constantly searching for the latest most advanced equipment and software available to help our members be as informed, productive and proficient as possible.

In September 2009, the Park Place BodyWerks body and paint shop became one of the first dealership body shops in the U.S. to switch from solvent-based paints to water-based paints - a less toxic, more environmentally friendly system that is likely to be required in all body shops eventually. All automakers use water-based paints, and the systems are required throughout Europe and Canada. California and some cities in Oregon and Washington currently require them.

Some of our other special equipment consists of 6 frame machines (two Celette dedicated fixture, 4 Car-O-Liner racks), 3 Car-O-Soft Vision computer measuring systems, 3 Car-O-Liner spot welders, one aluminum welder and dedicated aluminum tool set as well as a 4-wheel alignment machine and tire mounter and balancer. We also have multiple dedicated shop computers with direct links vehicle manufacturer technical repair and diagnostic information.
